Architecture diagramming

AI Architect.

Describe a software system in words and get an editable architecture diagram to start from.

WebPaused prototype

A first draft

A study plate on blueprint cyan. On the left, the words: A web app with accounts, a job queue and a database. On the right, the diagram those words become: Browser, App, Accounts, Queue, Database and Worker, joined by lines, with Queue selected.
A first draft. A study drawn for this page. A plain description on the left becomes a diagram on the right, with one part selected for correction. It is an illustration, not a screenshot.

The idea

AI Architect is a web prototype for the first draft of an architecture diagram. You describe the system in plain language. A language model proposes the components and the connections between them, and draws them as a graph.

The proposal is a starting point. The work is in correcting it until it matches the real system.

How it works

Describe
Write what the system has to do and what it is made of.
Generate
The model returns components and connections as a diagram.
Edit
Move components, change connections and remove what is wrong.
Save
An account keeps your diagrams between sessions.

How it’s built

The app
Next.js, with Prisma for storage and NextAuth for accounts.
The proposal
Generated by Google’s Gemini models.
The editor
A node-and-edge canvas built on React Flow.

Availability

AI Architect is paused. It ran as a local prototype and was not published. There is no public service or sign-up.
