Delivery study

A study plate on magenta. A line of script reads: steady, The room goes quiet, pause, excited, Then the story starts. Below it a waveform is calm under the first phrase, silent for the pause and tall under the second.
Delivery study. A study drawn for this page. A line of script carries its marks, and the sound below follows them: steady, then silence, then louder. It is an illustration, not a screenshot.

The idea

ATELIER-VOX is a prototype workstation for making a synthetic version of your own voice and directing how it reads. It leads you through a set of recorded takes, builds a voice from them and reads scripts back with the pacing you mark.

How it works

Recording
A five-step teleprompter leads you through the takes, with a level meter and checks on recording quality.
Script marks
Marks in the script, such as [pause] and [excited], set the delivery.
Speech engines
A script can be read by a model running on the computer or by a cloud service.
Review
Play the reading back against its waveform and export subtitles for it.

Availability

ATELIER-VOX is paused. It was built for working with your own voice. There is no public service or download.
