Minecraft companion bot

Lohchy.

A bot that lives on a private Minecraft server, remembers the players it meets and looks after itself.

Minecraft · Private serverPaused research

Blueprint study

A study plate on paper. A small cottage with a stepped magenta roof, yellow walls and cyan windows, and a tall stone watchtower with a ladder, both drawn as stacked blocks seen from above and to one side.
Blueprint study. Two plans from the catalogue the bot builds from: a cottage and a watchtower, drawn block by block from the real build files.

The idea

Lohchy is a research project about a game character that behaves consistently over time. The bot joins a private Minecraft server as a player. It remembers who it has met, keeps a daily rhythm and chooses what to do next from what is happening around it.

It was made for BANGxBANG, the server project listed under games.

What it does

Memory
Remembers each player it meets and what happened between them.
Daily rhythm
Follows a routine through the in-game day.
Survival
Finds food, avoids hazards, manages its inventory and defends itself.
Travel
Plans long journeys, expeditions and mining trips.
Building
Builds from a catalogue of blueprints.

How it’s built

The bot
Written in JavaScript on Mineflayer.
The dashboard
A separate view for inspecting what the bot remembers and what it is doing.

Availability

Lohchy is paused. It runs only on a private server. There is no public bot, invitation or download.
