Insurance policy reconciliation
PolicyLedger.
A desktop app that compares policy records from LifePRO and DataMart exports and shows where they disagree.
What it is
PolicyLedger is for insurance operations teams who work across a policy administration system and a reporting database. It loads an export from each, lines up the same policy in both and shows the values that differ.
Every value keeps the time of its source beside it. A nightly batch that disagrees with a current export may simply be older, and the app makes that visible.
What it does
- Matching
- Policies from LifePRO and DataMart exports are matched by installation, company and policy number.
- Differences
- Differences are calculated from the two sources. They are not copied from a list supplied with the export.
- Source times
- Each value appears with the time its source was recorded.
- Live reload
- The Mac app reloads when the export file changes. If a reload fails it keeps the last good data and marks it.
- Read only
- PolicyLedger reads exports. It does not change a policy.
