Lanternfall

Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

Lanternfall is a quiet offline physics game for iPhone. It requires no user account, operates without third-party advertising SDKs, and does not collect or transmit any personal data.

Who we are

Lanternfall is developed and published by Zachary Kane, an independent developer in Pennsylvania, United States. Questions regarding this policy should be sent to spicyhumansupport@gmail.com.

Data Not Collected

Lanternfall does not collect, harvest, store, or sell any personal data, identifiers, contact information, browsing data, or location data.

All gameplay progress, including unlocked charms, boat skins, canopy themes, high scores, and ember balances, is saved locally on your device in secure sandbox storage. Removing the app removes its local data.

Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center, the game uses Apple's official GameKit framework to report your high scores to Apple's Game Center servers for leaderboard display. Apple manages this data directly under its own Privacy Policy. You can manage Game Center permissions and profile visibility in your iOS Settings.

In-App Purchases

Optional cosmetic in-app purchases are processed directly by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or handle any credit card, banking, or billing details. Apple only provides cryptographically verified receipts confirming which product identifiers are owned.

Third-Party SDKs and Advertising

Lanternfall contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, zero user tracking libraries, and zero external telemetry services.

Children's Privacy

Lanternfall does not knowingly collect any personal information from children of any age. The game is rated 4+ and is safe for players of all ages.
