Jewelweed is the touch-me-not: a plant whose ripe pods burst when touched and fling their seeds. This is a one-thumb puzzle about that moment. One good touch can set off a chain of thirty.

How to play

Touch a pod to feed it a seed. A ripe pod bursts.
A burst throws four seeds. Each one swells or bursts the first pod it meets.
Every third burst in a chain pays a seed back.
Clear the bed to grow the next one. After every second bed, pick a seed packet to keep for the run.
The run ends when you are out of seeds.

Where is my run saved?

On your iPhone, every time the bed changes. Leave at any point and carry on from the title screen.

Is there sound?

Yes. It follows the silent switch and plays alongside your own music. Sound and haptics can each be turned off in Settings.

Does it work with VoiceOver?

Yes. Each pod is read out with its stage and position, and each move is announced.

Does it need a connection?

No. Jewelweed never goes online.

Does it collect personal data?

No. There are no ads, no analytics and no account. See the privacy policy.
